Cancer sucks. I share that just in case it wasn’t clear. My story begins in the summer of 2018. I stopped eating. I’d take a bite or two of my meal and that was all I needed. I didn’t feel bad, and for the first time in my life I was losing weight, a lot of weight. It was everything my doctors and mother have ever wanted from me. Then came November. I walked into a regularly scheduled doctor visit and the first words out of his mouth were “you’re yellow.” Yes, I was jaundiced.
