I was saddened to read the news of Pat's passing. Murph, that was such a well-written piece for people to understand what kind of person Pat Dickson was. I was lucky enough to be mentored by Pat, during my days with JCU Football. He always treated the younger guys so well. I had the pleasure of catching up with him, a few years back, at the JCU Football golf outing. He still had that same infectious attitude and way of talking to people. Rest in Peace, Dix.

Dear friends ,
It’s been a difficult couple of years. An even more difficult couple of months which are a bit of a blur. What I do remember and feel is the warmth and Love from our friends, family and community.
Pat teased that his service would draw more folks than our wedding... think he was right. Again ... dammit!
We have always believed and taught our girls that surrounding yourself with true friends can get you through anything life dishes out.
We have the honor of being surrounded by kind and selfless people. Pat saw that kindness and it brought him peace.
This is once again demonstrated by this amazing and selfless gesture.
Thank you doesn’t feel like the right thing to say...
We Love You All seems more appropriate.
