Oliviah Brown-Hall was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme Grade IV. On August 2, 2017 Oliviah (8 yrs) went to her pediatrician, complaining of intermittent headaches for 2 weeks. The doctor ordered a CT scan and discovered a brain tumor. Oliviah required 2 brain surgeries, one of which was 15 hours in the OR, to remove the tumor. She was diagnosed with Pineal Region Glioblastoma Multiforme Grade IV, an aggressive, malignant (cancerous) brain
tumor, a terminal diagnosis. She started an aggressive radiation treatment along with chemotherapy in September, 2017.
Oliviah is an outgoing, energetic little girl who loves to sing and dance. She loves going to church, Pokemon, and the color blue. Oliviah is desperate to start eating pancakes and bacon again after her brain surgeries. Oliviah has tons of cousins, who are her best friends. She brightens up everyone's day and is immediately friends with anyone she meets. Oliviah named her tumor "Stitch" (from Lilo and Stitch) after her Uncle Dan explained to her that a tumor is like a little alien growing where it is not supposed to be. Before her first brain surgery, Oliviah had a jam session with the Music Therapist at the hospital and lots of family. She sang songs by her favorite artists, Sophia Carson and Kelly Clarkson. Oliviah told her Uncle Curtis to make her Piece by Piece by Kelly Clarkson video viral because one day she will be famous. Her Facebook video currently has over 21K Views and has been shared over 900 times.
Oliviah passed away peacefully at home on December 29, 2018 at 10 years old.
