About three or four years ago I decided to make a huge step. I joined the army national guard. I went to basic training. I got there on New Year’s Day right at midnight. After months of training I still couldn’t pass the run. I continued onto AIT anyway. Then one day my hips hurt so bad I was in tears just from warm up exercises. I told my drill Sargents that was the day that devistated me. He said he was sending me home.
